Retouching work in my studio is completely dead. It’s summer time, and this is totally what happens. So I am filling my time with many personal projects. I just finished writing my *3rd* book on Photoshop. I can’t believe it. I give them to the students in my Photoshop Courses.
I have more variety of upcoming events that ever before. I keep developing new content, and would love to share it all with you. Skip to the bottom to see all the new live events I have coming up this summer.
10 Things Still Missing in Photoshop for Retouchers
This week, Adobe released it’s new 2014 update which is strange, since I thought updates came every month or two. So what makes this one special? I have no idea, I shad plenty items I thought were still missing.
Pratik Naik on CreativeLive
I’m a little late on this one, as this 3 day live event has already started, but there are a few days left, and they always repeat if you want to catch it. Below is a link to his interview on there.
Ben Wilmore on CreativeLive
I only mention this one, because I love everything Ben does. I am a big fan of him. This upcoming event is about Post Processing Outdoor and Travel Photography.
Well, this is different. Not much on a tutorial, but progression pictures show they rebuilt someones eye with metal parts.
Water Mark Your Images in Photoshop
I am regularly asked how to do this, and here Phlearn shows you one of the ways to do it with a Custom Brush. At the very least, the last minute or two was kinda funny, in Aaron’s usual quirky side.
Retouching Academy’s July Mentorship
The next round of free personal training will be coming up in like a week. So join the group, and let’s see what you got.
When I saw this, I knew I needed to add it here. This is an introduction to someone’s YouTube Channel on photography and retouching. The production value on this 3 minute video is through the roof, filled with some really great retouched images. Check it out.
Photoshop Emergency Retouching Basics
This Free Photoshop Class will give you the most simple basic workflow that I could think of. No strings, just sign up and you can get some easy to follow instruction on making Tonal and Color changes to your images. Starts 9am EST.
Super Basic Photoshop 2.5 Hour Class (June 28th):
HartfordAdobe Presentation (July 9th):
Lightroom Basics Class
I was asked three (now four) times last month to host a Basic Lightroom Class, and how it can be included with a Reliable Workflow. This request makes sense, as Lightroom is included with the Photographer’s Photoshop Plan from Adobe. So, I will be hosting a very focused, best practices class on organizing and retouching images using Lightroom. It will be as simple and direct as I can make it. Starts 11:30am EST, following the Retouching Basics Class (Above).
Lightroom 2.5 Hour Class (June 28th):
