Imagenomic Portraiture Review

When it comes to portraits, there are many different skill levels. Some people like to retouch for fun, but they may not have the technical skills needed for professional level work. Other people may be able to produce professional level work, but they dont usually have the time to start from scratch every single time they need to do retouching. When time is money, the faster you can reach a baseline image, the faster you can get to the detail work.

Portraiture solves both these situations, quickly, and easily.  I go into details about how this software can effectively soften skin inside of a portrait within minutes, in this video Imagenomic Portraiture Review. It can make your images look fantastic. Everyone will think you did all the work yourself, even if you know you took a shortcut. Why spend an extra hour on something you can do in 5 minutes?

How would you compare it to portrait professional?

  2. John Ross says:

I will take the high road, and say that each one worked equally well. In my experience, different people have different tastes, and that is why I avoid directly comparing two products, unless one is a clear choice, If anything, Portrait professional has so many options, that it becomes too complicated. At that point, you have lost the speed that these programs give you. Also, the price is tricky when you compare the full versions with CMYK and 16-Bit support. Portrait professional goes up in price from the basic version, and Imagenomics Portraiture may seem expensive, but with the code "ARTOFRETOUCHING", that 20% evens out the cost. So, i would just suggest the obvious, download them both, and give them both a try.

Careful when placing an order as they don’t tell you that it takes 24 hours to get “approved” only after paying. Then I call customer service and they tell me that my order is cancelled and then they say they just need to review my order….
So I cancelled the order. Hopefully that is the end of this.
    Not a trustworthy company.

    • John Ross says:

I am sorry, what part needed to be approved? If you order with a credit card, that should be that. I have a strong feeling there is more to the story, maybe international or something. Thats why I stopped taking cards, international order were a pain in the rear.

I know, and it’s killing me here. The coupon expired (one year), and I am working on getting it activated again. Only wish I found out sooner than 3 weeks later.
