It’s important to train yourself on what you should look for in an image. If you really want to become proficient with Photoshop, you first have to learn how to see. You need to change your focus. Learning how to notice the fine details is critical to success. Having a great photographer’s eye is not the same as a great retoucher’s eye.
Passing Judgment…in a fun way
This class will look into dozens of images that desperately need some “help”. Evaluating $25,000 ads and pondering the question of “Why did they do that?!” is always enjoyable. This has always been my favorite class to participate in. There is a ton to be learned when you really start thinking what was done, and why they did it, whether it’s through incompetence or complex marketing theory. Good or bad, learn from the pros.
